Big Sky Property Advisors started the way most good things do. Not with a business plan, but with a person who needed help.

A friend was navigating renting out her home for the first time. Every time I saw her she had another question, and every time I answered one, I realized I wanted to give her the whole picture. I had seen what happens when the foundation is not built correctly. One bad tenant, one overlooked lease clause, one screening shortcut taken under pressure. Any of those things can make or break what someone is trying to build.

That is why Danny and I started Big Sky Property Advisors. We knew there was a better way for property owners to get expert guidance without handing over control or paying ongoing management fees to get it.

Meet Cierra and Danny

We are a husband and wife team with 18 years of combined property management experience across more than 1,800 properties. Over the course of our careers we have each worked for different property management companies, which has given us a wide lens on the industry. Different markets, different challenges, different approaches to solving the same problems. Between us we carry a depth and range of experience that is genuinely hard to find in one place.

We built Big Sky Property Advisors to share that experience with property owners who want to do it right.

What We Believe

The single biggest mistake a new landlord can make is leasing to the wrong tenant. Not because bad tenants are inevitable, but because without a proper screening process, solid documentation, and the right foundation in place, there is no structure to protect you when things get difficult. And at some point, things will get difficult.

Our job is to make sure you are never caught off guard. We help you build something strong. A rental operation that is not easily shaken and is manageable when challenges do come up. We want every client to reach a place where they feel genuinely at ease knowing their investment is built to last.

Big Sky Property Advisors operates exclusively as a consulting firm. We do not manage properties, collect rent, or handle day to day operations. We educate, advise, and equip property owners with the systems and frameworks to self-manage with confidence, keeping full control of their investment without the ongoing cost of a property management company.
